Presenter Previews: Eric Sarwar at Symposium 2010

Among over 70 presenters at the upcoming Calvin Symposium on Worship (Jan. 28-30, 2010) will be Eric Sarwar, director of the Tehillim School of Church Music & Worship in Karachi, Pakistan, and an ordained pastor in the Presbyterian Church of Pakistan. Earlier this year, Rev. Sarwar was attacked at gunpoint in Karachi amid an outbreak of persecution against Christians in that region. We are grateful to God that his life was spared and that he has recovered from the injuries he suffered. He will be at Symposium to speak on “Singing the Psalms Against a Backdrop of Persecution: A View from Pakistan.”
