Alana Acker, Wally Frisch and Pastor David Smith, from Jordan United Church of Christ, gathered with me in the youth room, near their 2008 poster, to reflect on the project which focused on welcoming and empowering youth as worship leaders. They noted that there are more than 100 children and youth who regularly attend the church. They are grateful that as a result of the grant, youth are more willing to participate in worship and multigenerational worship has become stronger.

They showed me some of the beautiful quilted banners that were made by members of the church and gave examples of many other ways that people are committed to being involved in the church. We are grateful for the privilege to continue to learn from them after the grant year.
