Project Director Pamela Green greeted me in the beautiful courtyard of Ebenezer UMC. In the sanctuary the youth choir was rehearsing for the annual HIV/AIDS concert to benefit the community. With Pastor Joreatha Capers, members of the Worship Renewal leadership team and leaders from neighboring congregations we discussed the 2009 grant project that will provide education for those who plan worship. A special focus will be on engaging youth in worship.
Workshops are planned to help 20 new ministers 
develop and deliver sermons, to engage worshipers through the senses and to examine faith formation in a diverse congregation.
