Presenter Previews: Frank Thomas at Symposium 2009

Among over 70 presenters at this year’s Calvin Symposium on Worship will be Dr. Frank Thomas, pastor of Mississippi Boulevard Christian Church in Memphis, Tenn., and professor of preaching at Memphis Theological Seminary and at McCormick Theological Seminary in Chicago. He is the author of books such as They Like to Never Quit Praisin’ God: The Role of Celebration In Preaching and The Lord’s Prayer In Times Such as These, written in the wake of September 11, 2001. Learn more at www.tr.im/fthomasbio. He will preach in evening worship at Symposium on Luke 14:15-24, and lead a workshop on “Preaching on Celebration.”
